Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film

V překladu “Cena akademie za nejlepší animovaný krátký film” je cena Akademie filmového umění a věd jako součást cen akademie (Oscarů). První tato cena byla udělena v roce 1932 snímku Flowers and Trees a je součástí cen akademie dodnes. Od roku 1932 do roku 1970 byla tato cena označována jako Short Subjects, Cartoons (krátké subjekty, kreslené). V letech 1971 – 1973 byl název ceny Short Subjects, Animated Films (krátké subjekty, animované filmy). Současný název nese cena od roku 1974.
